You have 100% outdone yourself on these new salts!!! They make the best bath I believe I have ever had. They make you feel so soft, refreshed, and totally relaxed. I am all about these now!!! My calf tear is better although not totally healed. I am walking with a cane, and need more salts and oils to finish the healing process.

Thank you for sending the flea beware so quickly. And, the soap with the paw print! It was just what I need for my Kiska's skin. Kiska is the 10 year old Irish Wolf Hound that has arthritis and skin problems. His skin is now healthy and the pear mist works wonderfully when he is having a difficult time sleeping. I checked your website and didn't see the soap listed. I know that I'll want to keep it on hand for all my dogs. Right now, I'm just using it on Kiska as his skin had scabs and sores. I've been using the massage oils too for about a week now on a daily basis and he comes to me when he sees (or smells) that I have his kit out. Thank you so much! I visited Katy's shop at the Annual Oyster roast and was glad I had. Just a few weeks prior, I had a hysterectomy and my hormones were way out of wack. My face had broken out, my skin was dry and peeling. I tried everything on the market to clear up my skin. Katy, I used Five Senses Blend (and still do!) and your lavender lullaby while I was on chemo. It gave me a sense of peace and helped me sleep and relax, which is so important. Also, I have been using ginger since I was diagnosed - grate the fresh into my green tea. I knew it was good for digestion and stomach upset, especially from chemo, and also for inflammation. I read last week that tests show that ginger has been shown to KILL ovarian cancer cells in a lab dish!!! Amazing what all these complementary things can do for us. Keep up your wonderful work - your products continue to nurture me and they brought me through some very rough days!

Thanks for introducing me to "diffusing." I didn't think I'd find anything to relieve the symptoms of acute sinus rhinitis. My nasal passages were very dry and I couldn't sleep due to the discomfort. Your eucalyptus, diffused in the AKO Electric Diffuser, has been terrific! The headaches and pounding sinuses have diminished to the point where I can sleep through the night -- what a relief! I use the diffuser in my office during the day and in the bedroom at night. Thanks for the help I could not find elsewhere.

In 1988, I was diagnosed with Psoriasis. At that time I was living in a city with a medical college and a very well known dermatology department. The doctors approached my condition very aggressively - my treatments were done in a hospital three times a week. Prescriptions included oral medications, medicated baths, UVB light treatments and topical steroids. Within five months, my Psoriasis (or rather scales) was gone - at a cost of $5,000. Two months later, my Psoriasis was back and worse than ever! At that time, I was out of money and uninsured. In fall of 1992, I moved to Florida. I hoped that a milder climate with more sun and access to salt water would help. I did get some relief during the winter and spring when the climate was mild and I was able to get into the salt water and absorb the sun, but the extreme humidity and heat of the summer and fall months worsened my condition. I started seeing a dermatologist in the winter of 1995. I was back on steroids-oral and topical. Nothing seemed to work. In late spring of 1996, I started treatments again in the hospital, along with oral and topical medications. After four months of treatments, five times a week, I still had the scales so the treatment was stopped. For 3 ½ years, my entire body had areas of scaling. I lived in extreme discomfort! I took oral medications to help relieve the itching, but there was always some place on my body that was either itching or bleeding.
In spring of 2000, a friend talked to me about natural healing therapies and suggested that I speak to Katie. I must say, when my friend first talked to me about natural healing therapies (aromatherapy-holistic medicines), I was a 'Doubting Thomas'. But, nothing had worked so far - why not try this?
When I met with Katie, my life with Psoriasis changed! After a thorough consultation and some education on Psoriasis, I started my new life - to approach Psoriasis from the inside-out! Katie developed a variety of products, specifically formulated for Psoriasis, which included: bath salts for soaking, oil for my skin, hydrosols of distilled water w/oil to relieve itching, and a wealth of reading material about some life changes to help me manage/live with Psoriasis. My new routine included a bath (3 times a day), and body oil (3 times a day). Per Katie's recommendation, I also made some changes in my diet. These included taking flax seed oil (1 tablespoon 2 times a day), limiting my coffee to 8 oz. each AM, drinking a lot of water, consuming more orange juice, and a diet consisting of 80% of raw vegetables, fruit and raw nuts.
Within six weeks, Katie had given me my face back and within three months I did not have any more scales on my body - from head to toe! Today, I'm no longer a 'Doubting Thomas', and believe in nature's healing processes. It has been a life change for me - one that I hope to always follow!

I adopted Clovis, a 10 year-old, West Highland White Terrier ("Westie") eight months ago. As with many rescue animals, he had been medically neglected and was socially challenged. Westies are prone to certain skin conditions and allergies ranging from mild to extreme if left untreated. Since Clovis was already taking a lot of prescription medication for various medical problems, I wanted to treat his skin problem with a 'more natural' approach. Already somewhat familiar with alternative/holistic medicine treatments for animals, I contacted Katie. After a thorough evaluation, she developed some holistic blends to be used in conjunction with Clovis' medical treatments.
Katie immediately started Clovis on the Master's Pear Essence (a few drops added to the water bowl and a spritz for his surroundings) to help ease the trauma of his transition and calm him. She also recommended the healingpaws "Special Skin Blend" (a blend of jojoba oil and lavender essential oil) to be applied throughout his body, and massaged gently on his belly.
